In this article, you will learn the process for getting started with CGF.
You need to have the following resources before you start using Creative Feed Generator:
Product catalog data: This includes the data of clients' products or services for which they want to create ads on Facebook.
Catalog ad template: You need a creative design template, which the system will use to map the product catalog details to the template to generate catalog ads. You can get references from your client to assist the Pixis design team in designing the template.
Once you have the following details, you can raise a JIRA ticket.
From the client, you can get the product data details in a spreadsheet, which can be in XML, CSV, or Google Sheets format. This spreadsheet should include essential product information such as product names, descriptions, product image URLs, unique product identifiers, and other relevant details you wish to add to the creatives
To get started with CFG, first, you need to create a JIRA ticket for CFG Project Creation. Before raising this ticket you should get the template requirement and reference resources from the client. These details will be shared with the Pixis design team so they can create Template designs for it.
From the Support portal, select the Project Creation step and fill in all the required details. Someone from the support team will create a CFG project for the respective brand using which you can start generating catalog ads for Facebook.
Once the project is created, the support team will also add the catalog template to the project. Then, you can start exploring the feature and configuring the templates to generate catalog ads.
