In this article, you will learn how to take Manual Actions for your Campaigns from the Pixis Platform.
For situations where you need to perform manual actions on a client's account, the Pixis Platform offers a straightforward solution. Simply update a Google Sheet with a pre-defined format and include parameters for each column to specify the desired manual actions on the ad account. Once executed, it's important to keep in mind that these actions are irreversible. Therefore, exercise caution when performing these tasks to avoid any unintended consequences.
You can add manual actions by following the below steps:
Click on View Recommendations from Action Debugger
Click on Manual Action
Click on Download Sample Input File
Edit the file to add the Manual Action details in the specific Column. To learn more, see the “Sheet Column Headers Explained” section in this document.
Upload the file and click on Submit.
These recommendations should be visible in the View Recommendations section.
You have to add inputs for the following Header Column in the Google Sheet:
Header |
|
ID of the Ad Account in which you want to make manual changes |
|
This is the Element ID you can find on the Configure Story page of the Admin Panel. |
|
Name of the Element. (e.g., "Adset 1"). |
|
The level within the advertising structure (e.g., campaign, adset, ad). |
|
Concept ID |

In this column, you need to specify the manual action you wish to take, such as SET_BUDGET, INCREASE_BID, and so on. You can refer to the supported platform section to learn about the available manual actions. It is important to use the same format as the one provided in the table. |
|
Specify percentage adjustment for actions like increasing/decreasing bid or budget. Note: If you add this value, you can skip the Value Absolute parameter and vice versa. |

Note: There’s a specific format in which you have to add the “Action to do” to the sheet. You can find these in the tables below for each platform. For example, while making manual action for budget changes, you have to put “SET_BUDGET” in the “Action to do” column.
Manual Actions may vary depending on the platform. To view the supported platforms and their corresponding Manual Actions, please refer to the information provided below:
